Backstory: Rocky Point’s pristine estuary

A Tempe-based developer plans to erect multiple condominium towers near one of Rocky Point’s rarest water bodies: Estero Morua. The estuary is home to several rare birds and an oyster co-operative run by several local women. Preservationists are trying to encourage developers for Canusa Homes to include ecotourism to preserve the area’s character.
