Multimedia reporters needed to generate text stories and audio clips for our topical coverage. Much of the work will be on an assignment basis, though story pitches are welcome. Topics include Growth, Politics, Environment, Health, Mexico (with an emphasis on Rocky Point and Sonora news), and Miscellaneous. Ideal candidates should be fans of National Public Radio—longer story forms and imginative multimedia content. Good gear, reliable transportation, willingness to travel and an adventurous spirit are a must. Pay DOE. Please send resumé and three (3) links for past work to:

Pictures

Photographers needed for steady freelance work. Duties include driving to assignments, shooting multiple photos, and arranging/creating slideshows that are Web-ready. Work will focus on Arizona’s most scenic places, regional issues, and newsmakers who are driving the agenda. Assigments will take you everywhere from the San Francisco Peaks to the Mexican border (and sometimes beyond). Travel compensation offered, pay DOE, and print re-sale opportunities in the future. Videographers needed to shoot short videos to accompany text stories. Work is freelance and on assignment only. Duties include shooting and editing scenes from one or more locations. Reporter may also attend assignments. Videos should be smooth and less than five (5) minutes in length for optimum Web viewing. Must have good gear (or access to it), reliable transporation, an adventurous spirit, and desire to work in a fun team environment. Pay DOE. Please send no more than three (3) clips or links to:

Web

Flash guru needed to assemble story projects for occasional Flash packages. Text, photos, audio clips and/or videos will be supplied. Ideal candidate should be an intermediate Flash developer with a working knowledge of Web design and styles.
